Our son 'T' was born with Down Syndrome. In 2001, aged two, he was one of the first children to attend the Early Language Intervention playgroup. He is now in 1st class in mainstream school. ELI has given 'T' the skills he needs to function effectively within a mainstream setting. He communicates confidently with his peers and adults alike. He has just recently been voted onto the school council by his class mates. Having such good communication and comprehension skills has impacted extensively on 'T's quality of life. He goes to school, plays sport and has friends. He is a bright, happy and fun loving child and in short leads a normal life for an 8 year old boy. He has by far exceeded our expectations but then again ELI’s expectations and aspirations for 'T' were high from the start. As parents of 'T' we cannot praise ELI enough for what they have done for 'T' individually and us as a family. A.H.

You Helped Me. Not a week has passed where I haven't thanked God for helping us find you. ELI has been a lifeline to our family. What each and every one of you have done for 'H' and our family is miraculous, Thank you for everything you have given us. In the past 19 months you have helped 'H' come out of a very lonely and frightening place to be the contented little boy we have today. Life is Good. J.C.

Just a quick note to say many thanks for all your time and effort that went into the behaviour course in Blanchardstown. We all really enjoyed it and learned lots! And thank you both for all your patience and support as we all discussed our kids, L.B.
