>>INTENSIVE PRESCHOOL Programme

Early Language Intervention offers an Intensive Pre-School Programme for children diagnosed with Autism. Our programmes use empirically-validated behaviour analytic methodologies and procedures in order to provide your child with the most effective training in language, play and socialisation.

Specifically, ELI’s Intensive Pre-School uses a combination of discrete trial training, natural environment training, Picture Exchange Communication Systems, Functional Communication Training, Sign Language, and more.

Upon admittance to the programme, your child’s language and functional skills are assessed. Individual Education Plans (IEPs) are then created targeting your child’s particular needs. All Intensive Pre-School instruction is provided with a student-staff ratio of 1:1.

Your child’s progress is recorded and closely monitored on a daily basis. Children enrolled in this programme also attend the Pre-School Programme for half the day. This allows us to provide intense instruction for half the day and an enriched social environment for half the day. By combining the two programmes into a full day, we are able to provide children with a unique instructional experience.

The Intensive Pre-School Programme is closely supervised by two qualified behaviour analysts with more than 20 years experience between them. see our directors

Parents interested in the Intensive Pre-School Programme should first apply for the Pre-School Programme.

Early Language Intervention caters for children to the age of 6 who have a speech and language delay or disorder. ELI has been providing language- and behaviour-based services for children and adults since 2001.
