Fund Raising Plans for 2007-08
As we start the new year, we re planning to organise several events over the 2007/08 School Year. Information will be sent to all parents over the school year. Details for some of these projects are given below:

Traditional Music
The Second Annual ELI Traditional Music Evening was held on 9 November in the The Belvedere, Great Denmark Street, Dublin 1 - 01 8729199.
A great time was had by all at this fun event, featuring "Dubh Linn" and starring our own Triona Tammemagi. Dubh Linn was formed from regular sessions in Rush, Co. Dublin, between the years 1996 & 2000. The band currently consists of an accordion, 2 fiddles, a banjo, a harp, and a guitar. The band brings numerous Irish traditional styles together, with all the musicians having been taught in various areas of the Country.
We raised almost €2,000, which was our goal and more than the €1,200 we raised last year. This will be used to purchase an ABLLS kits and some computer programs for the schools. We want to thank all that came to and supported the night. Return to Top
