Early Language Intervention would like to invite you to a public address on ‘Language Intervention in the Early Years: A new vision’. This talk will be held in University College Dublin on Thursday, 15 May.
The presentation will address new methods of combating speech delay in pre-school children. These methods can be applied to children who suffer delay for a variety of reasons including those with disabilities such as Autism and Down’s syndrome.

Early Language Intervention provides first-rate, best practice education to children with speech and language needs. We cater for children with a variety of diagnoses ranging from Down syndrome to Autistic Spectrum Disorder; however, many of our children present only with language delay.
ELI specialises in early intervention in speech, language, play, and social development. ELI’s approach to language intervention has been extremely successful in providing students with the skills necessary to achieve in mainstream school placements - 70% of all ELI students are able to go on to mainstream placements.
ELI approaches each child as an individual. ELI’s curriculum is based on a developmental sequence of language acquisition that is tailored to the child. All ELI programmes are driven by evidence-based teaching strategies that help children acquire language in a developmentally appropriate manner.
